Spaghetti House needed a way to manage reservations more efficiently following the increased volume of new customers brought to the restaurant by a new business partner. This was the significant driver to implementing Livebookings into their system. The challenge was to bring the restaurants into the era of online marketing and adapt reservation processes in a bid to move the company forward. “It was a challenge to overcome the apprehension our restaurant managers and company directors had of taking electronic reservations after so many years of relying on the traditional restaurant diary. Faced with ‘if it’s not broken don’t change it’ attitude combined with the fact that all 11 restaurants did not have the internet, and in some cases the knowledge to switch on a computer, it was quite the task!”
